A DANGEROUS AGE
By Godfrey Hamilton
Created by the Starving Artists Theatre Company

An utterly contemporary love story, set against a backdrop of political rage and passion.

Balagan Theatre presents the U.S premier of the latest show from the award-winning Starving Artists Theatre Company. Fresh off its run to rave reviews in London, A Dangerous Age is a passionate and hilarious evening: part romance, part stand-up, and part wry reflection on America today. Mark Pinkosh portrays both Zach, a soldier in the U.S. Marine Corps, and Jackson, an idealistic, Hollywood-based actor, enraged with the current political situation in our country. The two characters develop a summer romance, which is cut short when Zach is shipped off to Iraq. A Dangerous Age was called "a performance both intimate and electric – a play of compassion, connection and transcendence" by Time Out London, and "dizzying and thrilling!" by the Metro Life of Manchester England."[Pinkosh's] dexterity as a performer delineates the two lovers so perfectly and with so little artifice, that it is uncanny to realize that this is a one-man show." -The Stage, UK.
