Jean Valjean (Hobson) is a convict on the run, relentlessly hunted by Inspector Javert (Michael Dunlap). As Valjean fights to leave his past behind and fulfill his promise to protect young orphan Cosette, his nation explodes in passionate, heartbreaking revolution.
